You've heard of mustards, right?
Well those are "ketchups".

Seriously though, I have no idea what they are, but I'd put money on them being a similar construction to mustards.
So I like purple, okay!!!!!!

and just about any other metallized poly film axial cap. None of them vary much.

The green caps we see a lot of are almost certainly Philips C296 capacitors (or, what we know as mustards). I'm fairly convinced the light blue ones I have seen are also, although they appear to be quite late production. The red ones could well be the same type cap. After all, it's not as if they were only made in one factory, and it's just a case of adding different pigments to the potting compound.
I've not seen any white ones myself as yet.

Those "Red" capacitors are exactly the same construction as mustards and just as good quality, those ones in the photo are LEMCO brand, but SRC made them in those colours too, ive seen them in blue, red and orange by those manufacturers, i have got a good supply of SRC caps that are 0.027uf and an ideal alternative to genuine "mustard" caps that are ever so hard to obtain.
