Some parts that I already know (IMHO):

1. Speaker : Vintage Philips Speaker 9750 (there is a stamp "59" = "1959" .. ? ), 8 inch, 5,3 ohm, alnico magnet.
Web Reference that I get, only Vintage Philips Speaker 9710 :
http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/philips9710.htm

2. Rectifier, seems using someting like 5Y3 tube rectifier. (.. from the tube base that being used)

3. It is 2x EL84 push-pull amp . (18 watt ? )

4. From the wiring, there is still one socket tube accommodate for another El84.
(not sure, what it is for ...)

5. One 12ax7 or ECC83 type tube.

6. One mysterious Rimlock tube base (B8A) on preamp section. (is it for EF40 tube ? Philips replacement for EF86 tube ?)

7. In summary = 1x Rimlock tube base, 1x 12ax7, 3x EL-84, 1x 5Y3.

PS :
Rimlock base

The Rimlock (B8A) base is an 8-pin design with a pin circle diameter close to noval, and uses a nub on the side of the envelope to engage with a guide and retaining spring in the socket wall. This provides pin registration (since the pins are equi-spaced) and also a fair degree of retention. Early tubes with this base type typically had a metal skirt around the lower ~15mm of the envelope to match the socket wall, and this offered a degree of built-in screening, but these were fairly soon replaced by 'skirtless' versions which had a characteristic widening in the glass to compensate physically for the absence of the skirt. In the European naming scheme, rimlock tubes are numbered in the ranges 40-49, 110-119 (with exceptions), and 400-499, e.g. EF40. Although virtually unknown elsewhere, this was a very common base type in European radios of the late 1940s through the 1950s, but was eventually displaced by the ubiquitous B7G and noval (B9A) base types.

Does someone could help me please to identify this old amp ?

Thank you ..

If you could find some way of getting in touch with Aspen Pittman, X-CEO of Groove Tubes then he might have an idea as he (was/is) the greatest collector of guitar amps, and prior to his selling of Groove tubes to Fender Musical Instrument Corporation he had one of, if not THE largest guitar amp collections, and wrote a book solely dedicated to them.

Thank you for your suggestion Lefty Lou ..

Some research on Web, seems :
1. The Rimlock Tube base is for Old EBC41, it is for Bass driver --> EL84 Bass Driver --> Push-Pull 2x El84 as power amp ..
2. The Treble Channel = 1x ECC83 --> Push-Pull 2x El84

Hmm .. Intresting .. :mrgreen:

Of course there is every possibility that it is homemade, or not necessarily a commercial venture...
So I like purple, okay!!!!!!

83.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

Hhmmm .. yes.. it can be a homemade amp ..

I found reference on web :
http://www.staff.science.uu.nl/~tel0010 ... BX998A.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.philipsradios.nl/Schemas/BX998A.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That Old radio (amplifier section), closer to this amp ..
The differences 2 channel in Phillips Radio Tube, independent channel --> Power amp (single ended) --> OT --> Speaker ..
2 channel (Bass & Treble Channel) in this Amp, goes Single Power amp (as mixer, in push-pull configuration) --> OT --> Speaker ..

All component seems are similar to Old Philips radio ..
My guess... It is Extension Speaker Unit for Tube Radio.. or knock-off/homemade Amp..
and copy its amplifier schematic.. (using most parts, that taken from Philips Tube Radio..)
