I found a lot of similarities to an image of the guts of a real genuine Airbrake that I found at ampgarage couple years back..

I didn't purchase it, just saw the ad and was wondering about it. I did however buy one of those huge 300w, 8-ohm wirewound resistors that were on eBay a while back...

I wondered if I could construct a similar circuit using my huge wirewound? I may be wrong, but from what I've seen of these, I think with the Brake Lite the chassis IS the heatsink, and it bolts hanging on the inside of the rear a combo amp, to dissapate the heat. The huge wirewounds from eBay sounded surprisingly good, from the soundbytes posted... :listen:

I built both an lite and airbrake... You can buy same parts and rather inexpensive. They sound pretty good

Could you please list all necessary parts numbers/articles for both? I'd like to build one myself
