Ampeg Heritage B15
I understand that Metro amps built the heads for the recent Ampeg B15 bass amp reissues. I got to play one of these, and it was the best bass tone I've heard. Unfortunately, they were very limited and are hard to find now. Any chance I can have one of these PTP, all tube B15 style heads custom built?

Re: Ampeg Heritage B15
I designed and built 50 limited edition B-15's back in 2010. They all shipped by the first quarter of 2011.
I'm glad you liked the one you played! I managed to get really nice signal caps and NOS preamp tubes into those amps. The subsequent runs did not use those parts.
I am still under a non-compete clause from the original contract and will not be building low powered bass amps any time soon. Those amps do come up for sale once in a while, but are still very expensive. You might look at an old one. My early 70's B-15 is probably the best sounding one I have. Those can be had pretty reasonably.
