Power Tranny Help/Advice

Post by cfljames » Fri Jun 26, 2015 2:02 pm

I have a 100 Watt Fender based amp that I've replaced the Power Tranny w/Mercury Mag unit.It is correct and gives slightly more plate voltage than its prior unit.My issue is that when flipping back onto standby it fries the standby switch internals..
All measurements are correct throughout.I've replaced all diodes and it is wired 100% correctly...
My thoughts after many hours of heartache is that is it possible the new tranny took out the windings in the choke and its feeding back? The amp does pass signal but very poorly and has a much more audible hum,and if pushed will snap the fuse..
Thanks in advance guys....
