Where is Mark Gregg

Post by limetime55 » Mon Nov 14, 2011 1:47 pm

Does any one know how to get in touch with Mark Gregg at Ultimate Attenuator? I sent in my UA for repair four months ago and cant get a hold of him to see whats going on with the repair. Is he still in business? I left messages on the phone number advertised on his site, left emails ect. but no reply the last few months. And I always get a voice mail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am starting to wonder if I will ever see it again.

My ua has a 100v tap that I never used. So one day I plugged into it to lower the voltage when try a load box for re-amping but there was no power. I looked inside and found a bad solder joint (not making any contact) were the transformer wire connected to the 100v plug. So I soldered it and it checked out fine on the bench. I went back upstairs plugged everything in and it worked great for about 1 minute until died again but this time the transformer was toast. It blew the fuse and died. So I called Mark (back in june) and he said to send it in and he would fix it.

Still no joy. He must be out of business. I dont use facebook so I will have to get a friend to give that a try. I just cant believe my luck. I regret ever buying it.
Has anyone talked to him within the past month?

Well then he must be avoiding me. I know he kept asking me if I bought it new (I didnt) but that should not matter. Maybe he keeps them to resell. I tried him again, email and phone and got no reply.
So I guess Ultimate Attenuator buyers beware.
I sent this to him the first week of July and have received the runaround followed by being completely ignored. Lawyers will be next I guess.

An update on the UA fiasco, I sent Mark a certified letter that he signed for requesting the return of my attenuator in ten days or I would take legal action. It has been 15 days and no reply from him. So I guess after Christmas I will go see my attorney.
