Rangemaster builds

Post by ohmygodtheykilledkenny » Wed Jan 04, 2012 5:12 pm

I've got an OC44, OC76, and OC71 from small bear, I'm building one Rangemaster for Leot from the Sheepdogs, and 2 for myself.

Without building all 3....which two should I keep? I'm leaning towards keeping the 71 and the 44. Apparently the 71 has a gain of 51, so it's assuredly the lowest gain of the bunch. Which I find intriguing. :P

try them and see which one you like. 3 transistors isn't much at all. sometimes you need to go through many more than that

Alright, I'll breadboard em up and see which ones are best. Thanks for the advice!
