Hi Iam just getting into making some of my own effects pedals from getting the parts myself I have done alot of kit ones .I got the ep3 pre amp parts from valve storm is there a betteray out drawng of the front side and the back side of the bread board for the pedal clone I can not find even a lay out drawing for dunlops looks really simple I like to see some pictures of ones other people have built ,that might help me learn how to read schematics better

Does any one that has built from the parts sold by valve storm the EP3 pre amp have pictures of tting together the pre amp just like to see them so I get my layout nice and neat

could I use poloerized s that are rated for higher voltage like left overs from my amp build rated for 400v or would they not work because of only having 9 volts in a effects pedal?

They will work. You can see caps like the ones that are being used in tube amps, that are rated for 250v-400v volts in a regular pedals. Not often though... Some times you just can't find right values of specific type of capacitors.
