mxr microamp?

how is the mxr micro amp?can you get allot of extra gain with one through a plexi?

The mxr microamp is a pretty decent boost with a very high input impedance that can be compared to zvex super hardon. The only problem with them is if you go to max. the microamp can produce it's own internal distortion, but if you cut back a bit you still get a very good boost that is enough . I think eddie van halen even uses one to compensate for signal loss due to long cable runs.
