Uuuughh. Another damn weekend of working on my house getting it ready to sell. UUUUUUGGGHH.
But first, it was time to hit the swap meet at the state fairgrounds. I honestly don't know why my pops and I still go, we don't need much of anything for either my '50 Chev or my '53 Chev pickup. (Mostly Dad can't pass up junk Rochester Model B carbs for extra jets for my dual-carb setups.)
Then, as I was standing in line to take a piss, I spotted an old tube stereo sitting on the ground.......I wander over to take a lookie.......
Four Telefunken 12AX7's, one Telefunken 12AU7, one Telefunken 6CA4 (rectifier??) and four RCA Blackplate 6V6's.
$2.
hehehehehehehehehehehehe..............
Even if half of these test as crap I made off decent.
SCORE!!!

When Bob gets mine made I'll tell ya.........he found out I was really looking for a four-hole panel for a rocker switch amp, and he needed one too, so I sent him mine as a template. But he had some trouble getting a hold of the gold aluminum material for the panels, so much trouble that he hinted he may not bother with them after this run of panels. He's been struggling with them for over two months now.Hey Flames how are those metal panels you found on ebay a few months back?
Every one of those tubes tests good and strong on my old Seco Model 107 tester (yes, I know, these testers don't really stress a tube out like a real guitar amp.) But still.........SCORE!!!!
The 6V6's may go up for sale, at least one pair -- my '53 Chev pickup radio uses a 6V6 so I may keep a couple spares.
