Anyone try these tubes in their plexi? Im interested as Ive heard good things from others and tung sol advertises them as having 6L6 characteristics which I would dig!

I feel like ordering a set of the Tung-Sol EL34B along with 2 12ax7 tung sols, and a an old mullard 12ax7 for V2 or something.

If anybody has any experience with the Tung Sol El34b chime in!

As long as the bias is set correctly (with a scope, observe crossover distortion), works just fine.
The 12AX7 SINO (made in china) will give you just as much grind for lead guitar as any NOS tube. People who tried them for lead guitar won't go back to NOS.

They are nice and have been lasting over a year in a friends amp that gets played out a lot, and they still sound the same as far as I can tell. I thought that they were a little 6L6 ish when I tested them out, but I think I had read that before I got them so it could have just been a mind fuck, now I pretty much only hear them with high gain.
