Its been along time since ive been here!

I just got a matched quad of new production el34 mullards from tube depot and
1 tube is off by 12 ma (lower)

Should i run it like this or what?

I just dont want go through the return crap.

Amp is self made Metro 68 100w, built in 07

well... 12 mA is too much! Are you sure it's a tube? Did you use new made resistors or you NOS?

I moved the tube to a different socket and that tube
is 12 ma lower.

Sad to hear this... (Or read :) ) Tubes must be matched, so you can think about sending them back. That's what I would do anyway. If you have other EL34 may be you could find a better replacement for the one that has a problem. One tube won't change the tone, and as I read on the net these Mullards are not that special.
