Impedance question RE: two 4x12-8ohm vs. 4ohm loads
Is there any noticeable difference with regards to sound, performance or strain on an amp when you run two 16ohm 4x12 cabinets (8ohm load total) from the parallel output jacks on the amp versus two 8ohm 4x12 cabinets (4ohm load total)? Is one more desirable than the other or is there any difference at all?
