Just give it a symbol for a name, like Prince did........ "The attenuator formerly known as Alex" Rip Ben Wise (StuntDouble) & Mark Abrahamian (Rockstah)

If Alex is ok with it that is.

His product is well respected and already known in the market place. Sometimes when a product is successful you have to run with it and it's reputation, anything else is a step back.

I was just looking at my Alex and I thought this said it all.
Simple and straightforward. People will know exactly what it is.

I've decided to call it the Scumback DBL which can stand for any number of fun things (Dumb Blonde Limiter, since Ellen was a dumb blonde beyotch) but I'm going to refer to it as the:

Decibel Limiter

Since decibels are commonly referred to as db and the product is "limiting" the number of db's you hear, this made sense. Of course, DBL is catchy.

Closest name to the final name belongs to (drum roll please)...sonic boom.

sonic boom had SPLimiter

Even though it wasn't exact, it was in the same name range. Someone on the TGP had Scumback AA-DB Limiter, which was closer, so that member is going to get the free attenuator. For thsoe who got close, I'm going to offer a $150 discount off of the $449 price if you actually want an attenuator. I figure you should get something for thinking up a name that's close.

We're still 4-5 weeks away from having these built, somewhere in mid March I think.

So there you have it, the Scumback DBL.

Thanks for thinking up a gazillion names...and, uh, sorry...I won't be sending a pound of weed to that one member who needed it to keep coming up with names.
