CLIPS: G12H Heritage v/s G12H Chinese v/s G12M Grnbk Chinese
This was posted at The Gear Page and thought it was interesting. I personally wish there were more chording instead of single notes but you can still get the idea.

I happen to own a Mojo slant basketweave clone cabinet loaded with the G12H-30 70th Anniversary Series speakers and an actual '73 Marshall straight cab loaded with the original greenback G12H-30s. My '73 G12Hs are the bass version(014 cones, 55Hz bass resonance).
I have to say that in comparison with each other...
The Anniversary series has more of an 80s era hard rock/heavy metal tone whereas my '73s have more of the classic rock vibe goin' on. I've recorded clips of the Anniversary series and posted them here on the board. And when I run my '73s, I can get THE classic hard rock tone out of them. With my Les Paul(EMG 85 bridge, 81 neck) running into my Metro Plexi with all the knobs dimed and the Normal volume and bass controls at 12:00, this will give me THE classic Les Paul/Marshall tone that we all know and love, whereas with the other cab I can nail the exact tone for the more 80s-esque stuff.
Just my $0.02.

Honestly, I think the playing was quite annoying
lame playing
Boy, that playing was annoying
...and you guys were nominated as best new talent in what GP poll?
You might not like it but, don't trash the guy. Believe it or not there is somebody better then you (right around the corner).

I have a Weber G1230-55, which is their version of a G12H-30 55hz cone. And I have the newer Celestion G12H-30 Aniversary which is using a 75Hz cone. The Weber is a nice sounding speaker with a deeper voice. The G12H-30 sounds a lot like a V30 without the high mid hump. I like it and find no trouble getting a classic rock sound from it.
I'm using either a PRS McCary or Singlecut trem or a LP '59 RI with WCR Fillmore pickups.
I'm using mainly amps I cusom build for myself, but also using a 1959 RI both speakers sound great. I think the whole package has a lot to do with the Rock/Metal sound difference. I've always found EMGs a bit mid lacking, so I can believe the G12H-30 wouldn't sound as full.
