Speakers wiring

Hey guys!
I'm thinking about buying Tayden Great Brit 8ohm speakers and I'm a bit confused with wiring them as they state on their website that loading options for these speakers in 4x12 cab are either 2ohm parallel or 32ohm in series. Does that mean they can't be wired as 8ohm total? Most likely it does not but I just want to be sure. Thanks!
