Has anyone compared a vintage Black Back to the Scumback?

Scumback has a 25 and 75watt blackback model. Has anyone recorded both in the same recording session?
I am curious how the scumback's would fare in the terms of a vintage's typical sizzle without being harsh and flatter mids.

I picked up a '70 cab with 3 orignal black backs and a later 75 watt something. Jimmy hooked me up with a Scumback blackback. Cab sounds great. The Scumback fit right in. You would hard pressed to pick it out from the other three.

To be fair though, with one similar-ish speaker sharing a cab with 3 others in a sealed cab, and sharing the same air-space in the enclosure, it would be difficult to tell the difference. Even a somewhat different sounding speaker will still have quite a bit of character from the other three imparted on it from behind.

Agreed. Let's say than it did not stick out like it didn't belong.
