 Nine days left and already $7600 . Be interesting to see how high this goes. Amazing condition for it's age.

Too many strange things in that amp to make we want to buy it. 784-103 with an ohms selector, C1999 looking choke, late 60's resistors, looks to be a dual filter cap setup on the circuit board, slider bias pot, 1967 mustard date codes, probably more.
Patience is a virtue.

mmmm... ya I was curious about the slider pot, mustards and the added caps on the foam thing.... Rest seems legit... but that amp needs work to be 100%.

What part seems legit after that? I would suspect that this was probably a Kitchen -Marshall from 67 that has been stuffed into a different cab and is being sold as a pricey 64. He even says that the 470K resistors are not from this time period.

You're probably right Brian. I was looking at it on my phone last night. It's a little clearer this morning. Still a sweet amp. And the cab is magnificent.

Ha ha, as CEO I am authorized to write paychecks and pickup diapers on the way home.

Yes I noticed a few things but primarily that most amps of that period had the opposite arrangement of selector switches. They had the output selector on the back and the power selector on the the transformer this one is opposite that. Also amps with the normal setup are typically considered 65 not 64. 64 would have selectors on the transformers and none on the back.

I had not seen this thread, but noticed all of the above (except significance of slider pot  ) and posted on PP.

The icing on the cake was the 470k mixer comment whilst the pic is resplendent with 470k Iskras, next to the late 67 Mustards:lol:

I've seen other items from this seller that were touted as 100% original, but were not.
