Thanks worked great. I'll tell ya the split turretts are VERY enjoyable to work with. It's also easy to do a nice neat job with them!

Is there any other way to get these instructions... my computer will not pull up that page for some reason...

Tried downloading the instructions this morning, and it's a no-go......it starts, but stops at about 850Kb.
Same with the 50 watt instructions..no-go.

Did you get the file? I tested it and it seems to be working. It's a big download, it will take some time.

Ok I think I'm going nuts, I cannot see an instruction to attach the 1K 2W resistor to either the board or the output tubes. I mean I know where it has to go, but its driving me crazy

Are you positive that it's a 2 watt resistor? They usually include 1k/5 watt cement resistors in most kits for the power tube screens. They are soldered across pins 4 and 6 of each power tube socket with the feed wire connecting to pin 6. I'm not sure where a single 1k/ 2 watt may be needed though.

Some amps use a flying 1k resistor from the turret on the B+ line from the choke to V4 instead of a yellow screens supply. I have it on both my 64 and 65 JTM45s, only brings screen V down a little extra but in these amps sounds spot on.

Gotcha... I really need to build a JTM 45 one day soon. It's the only circuit I haven't tried yet.
