Hello guys,
After a long search for parts i finally started building a jtm45 using george's instructions. I forgot to buy a couple of 1 ohm bias resistors, so here's my question:
I use the weber bias rite to bias, so the 1 ohm resistors are useless to me. But do i still have to connect both pin 1 and 8 of the kt66s to ground, or do i connect only pin 8 and leave pin 1 disconnected? I am curious because all kt66 sheets present pin 1 as 'no connection'. Does it make any sense to ground pin1? thanks!
1 ohm resistors?

Re: 1 ohm resistors?
You can leave pin 1 disconnected for KT66 or 6L6. You'll need it grounded for EL34's if you ever want to use them.
