Hi Guys
I love my metro JTM 45 I built. I would like a bit more dirt at lower volume. Is the best way perhaps an attenuator? or is there something else ? Wanted to avoid overdrive pedals if pos.
Thanks

Go on fuzz central website, grab the axis fuzz schematic and build it, it cost almost nothing and it will drive the front end of your amp nicelly.
There is plenty other DIY project you can do with good results.

If you love it the way it is but just want it to have the vibe is has now on 8 at lower vols then you can increase the nfb resistor to 47k or even more but try 47k/8ohm tap first up. This small mod will just about kill the small headroom a 45 has stock. Easy to try, pedals suck and add noise

A PPIV MV also works very well. Very inexpensive, and you can balance that with your volume controls on the amp to get a great tone.
