PT suitability

Hi,

I have the following transformer I’d like to use, if it’s suitable:
340-0-340 150mA
6.3V 5A
5.0V 3A

Are these current ratings sufficient for a JTM-45?

A GZ34 needs 1.9A @ 5.0V on its filament.

Two EL34 w/ three 12AX7/ECC83 need a total of 3.9-4.1A @ 6.3V on their filaments.

So all is well

Hey Larry. El34's draw 1.5A right? And 12AX7s .3A.

That's right!

But sometimes it happens, that people like to swap in 6550's instead of the EL34's - and they draw 1.6A each. Therefore I've written the range of 3.9-4.1A for the total current
