Clapton Knobs alternatives?

Post by MHProd » Fri Feb 20, 2015 12:38 am

Do you guys know of any modern production knobs which have a similar look? I did some research but can't find any...

Thanks!

I didn't know his amps had different knobs...do you mean the white knobs with black line pointers? Got a pic of what you're talking about?

The sides are smooth and they are held on by set screws. Originally made by Pecalit. I have heard that some Phillips tape/hifis used them as well. I have some similar but not exact ones. Also have some off the mini version that Andertons were selling last year but they are little bit too small (perfect for pedals!)

Anyone have any?

Neil, yeah, those are what I was thinking of...thought maybe the mhprod had something different than those. Didn't realize those had become "unobtanium". Good luck finding some!

Unobtanium yes.

Can't find real ones or repros (some were made a few years ago).

At this point I'm looking for alternative versions. Something that looks 'close enough' but no luck so far...
