Erm, I don't know if I would. They're a bit big. If I bash around this one enough I may recover it in red but the tolex on it is pretty tough so it may take a good few years :)

I recorded another clip, with my Tokai Breezysound (50s spec Tele) this time.

Amp settings:
Presence: 5
Bass: 2
Middle: 8
Treble: 8
Volume 1: 11 (plugged into high input)
Volume 2: 2 (jumpered into high input)

Amp was set to use the Bass Tonestack, Solid State rectifier and high negative feedback

My JJ GZ34 has given up already. I think the plates are loose inside, I can hear rattling when I shake the tube. I blow the mains fuse when I use it. Working on getting some NOS Raytheons from a local guy, else I may just get a Weber WZ34.

That big 1k in your B+ line will be stressing your rectifier like heck!

Triode is sending me a replacement choke, free of charge. Soon, this plexi will be complete :D
