Will different choke value change plate voltage?

Say a 4h vs a 10 or 20 h???

Just curious.

Thanks Jimmy 8)

Not if you mean outputs.

OT HT feed (centre tap) on a Marshall is before the choke so at idle no

Of course when the amp is driven and lots of current being drawn the behaviour changes.

What you do not ask is the DCR of each choke and its current handling capacity..........

Will change the feel of the amp. Choose wisely.

The DCR of the choke will affect the screen voltage and indirectly also the plate voltage. Higher resistance will decrease screen current and plate current, leading to higher plate voltages

Thanks for your answers, from what I gather a 4h would
nudge the plate voltage lower rather than higher???

Thats whats in it and I have 467.

Higher than i wanted. Its a classic tone pt.

it depends on the resistance not the henries
