I'm confused about how to wire this sucker up.
Here is the link to the schematic. I'm interested in 8 ohm.

'Im extremely confused why the Black wire and Yellow are linked? Blue and brown linked too?
What reason are these connected if so?
But Id like to know how every wire up.
Thanks guys

The RS OT is a hifi OT with interleaved windings and multiple plate load options. Your assumptions on the secondary wiring are correct. To wire the primary you must decide which plate load you want to run. Many folks like the 6.6k sound while others go for the 8k load. You could try them both and see which you prefer.

Thanks Danman,
so for a 8ohm load I take the Blue and Brown wire and solder the leads together?
Wire the Black and Yellow together to the ground lug/speaker ground??
Thanks!

From looking at the schematic, I would agree with you. The green lead would be the positive lead to the speaker, brown and blue tied together and heatshrinked, and black and yellow to the speaker's negative terminal.. Here is a thread from the Marstran forum where they give a little bit more info on the original...
