This recent Ebay amp is literally untouched inside! I know a few people who bid really high on this BTW. Simply awesome.

George I noticed from the pics of that amp, if you check in the chassis there is an extra tube hole just by V1(left of V1.......) but was cover or something??...Was that common? 1968 never had 4 pre amp tubes??? Check the chassis pic ???

Maybe that's why the new 1959HW's have that unpunched groove for where a 4th preamp tube would go...
