uncle doug and spike do a great job of explaining the basics regarding many aspects of tube amps. here he is discussing bypass caps. these are ways we can shape the eq and cut bass in various stages. unless you use cheap pedals into the amp which will cut the bass before it gets to the inputs.

youtube is awesome. one has to sort through some garbage but guys like this are gold. What a service to mankind. This last summer I learned how to change my brake rotors and the true history of easter island. Gotta love youtube
