I should have added this url as well

http://www.bksv.com/Products/pulse-anal ... s-overview

I mis spelled bruel and kjaer sorry.

http://www.bksv.com/Products/analysis-s ... ality.aspx

In days of old when knights were bold, audio engineers in usa typically used

General Radio gear to do audio analysis , of course there hp/agilent.

Crown amps had their own super distortion analyzers, Sold only to crown dealers,

but it had insane capabilities to measure Inter-modulation distortion content as well as harmonic distortion.

I think crowns were best IM analyzers available, of course tube amps are not as suscepiblte to IM .Nice

plexi's probably crank out a raft of lovely harmonic singing distortion as well a such nice blooming

or audio dynamic sound level response which often produces gorgeous sag and feedback upon power

supply recovery due to the nature of the dc supply on say a jtm50 with GZ-34.

Izotope looks like it could yield some meaningful data regarding the plexi "tone" we all love
