Andy, they are all 600v Dubiliers. 1000v should work fine. Note how they only used the mustard for the .0022 coupler. I may be dreaming, but I think that is the most beneficial spot for a mustard.Tone Slinger wrote:Hey Phil, whats the voltage of those bi-colored(half blue, half white) Dublier .022 caps ? I got a couple of them and they are 1000v.
Yes they are stock. Here is a pic of one of these that is stock, unmolested.Tone Slinger wrote:So those Dubli's were/are stock in that amp ? You see alot of them in those era amps, mixed with mustards obviously. Alot of the 50 watters seemed to have those Dub's in the PI on into the '70's.
I think Ed's amp when stock pretty much looked like the one George has. Up until a week ago there was someone selling the philips .68uf chicklets, but I don't see them now.Tone Slinger wrote:Very sweet pics . It seems that some 12xxx had the standard .68uf mustards on the cathodes and some had the 'box' phillips .68uf there (especially at the v1b cathode). George said his 12xxx has the box at v1b (and that it appears to be the stock part). Ed's 12xxx supposidly has the .68 Phillips box cap at v1b as well. I cant find one of those darn things (Phillips .68uf box cap). I've only seen the smaller ones available on the Bay.
