Sounds meaty as a mudda-fukka. The beginning sounds almost like you have a cranked fuzz box on it. Cool!! What bottom are you playing that thru?

what is the spec? 69 with low filtering + PPIMV?

when you say "george's transformers" what transformers exactly are you referring to?

it seems to have a pleasing depth to it.

details details...

:D
its a 2203 spec using a PPIMV - low filtering - Georges dual tap PT using 400dcv with his Dagnall clone OT.

using my 76 straight cab loaded with the weber prerola clones.

stan it is pretty close to ralle's cascade spec. it sounds not as hairy with the darkburst back in the guitar. the JB in comparison to my ear has a real ahh sound to it compared to the DB. the db is alittle more eee compared. if that makes sense

Wow, killer sound!! Well done!
Curious about the caps, you've been using mustards on your builds, but mentioned having some Sozo's and were going to use them.

So Mark do you just put the 2203 spec amp inside a 1959 head and chassis? Volume one gain volume 2 master ? or do you have the 2203 faceplates and all. I remember when I first put that PPIMV in my 2204. It was like "yep, thats the tone." I run the gain and master at about 3/4...you can get a lot of textures out of that setup.
