Me thinks that with Eddies hands instead of mine, and some warmer reverb and recording gear, this would pretty much nail the earlier tone..

Anything but Unchained please! Great sound, a little more definition on the low E would give it that VHI vibe. Try playing On Fire or Little Dreamer those songs are a little more tone specific, Unchained and Mean Streat sound the same no matter what amp is used. I really like the tone of those G12H's! What filter caps were put in?
