5153 owners tube question?

I bought a 5153 mini head and 2x12 cab and wanted to ask if anyone swapped the stock JJ tubes?
what did you use in the pre amp section?

I replaced the pre-amp tubes in mine, with NOS Sylvania 12AX7s. It helped the tone a little IMHO, nothing drastic.
I am yet to try a new set of 6L6s.

Just today I swapped out the preamp tubes with a Tung Sol in V1 and the rest Rubys except for the PI I used a Sovtek LPS. I went with the Rubys in the power section also , getting it biased as we speak and should have it back tomorrow
