44nF PI input cap.
47K mid pot.
27K/16ohm NFB.
Ok... I'll look in to that... I know I had something like that... I don't have the 50k mid pot, but I have been tweeking around with the 44nF PI input cap, actually... there's something about that one that I like... The rest looks like it's the same

It's been a while. Great to see/hear that amp again. I'm curious, in your country, your electricity runs at like 220VAC. Is that right? 8)

And are you using the 220 tap? 230 tap? 240 tap? 8)

I'm using the 240 tap... I don't have any 230 tap... I have 240, 220 and 120v taps...
It gives me around 460v plate voltage. If I hook it up at 220v tap, it'll get me around 500v
Maybe I should mention that I use the 1203-80 pt with a single rectifyer from metro.
Differences are the 1203-80 keeps a tad lower voltage than my T2562, with that one I get pretty close to 500v... even at 240v tap.

Ralle, I remember you were using a Mighty Mite pickup for awhile. What's your opinion on the Mighty Mite? I was lucky enough to snag a 1300 this month for a decent price. It's a very nice sounding pickup, more highs/less bottom than a SD.

I think they're ok... I had a DSD as my favorit pu for a long time up till I got my Gibson lp with a 500t in... Really, I'm not sure if the 500t sounds better than the DSD, but it doesn't squeel like hell at least. It's ceramic pu as the DSD, a bit hotter as well ( maybe too hot ) so I guess that's where the thing is for me... If my memory serves me right the 1300 has a bit lower output than the DSD ( or MM 1400 ), but sounds just about right... As I don't think there's just one pu for the sound, this is absoloutly one of'em.
The SD jb is a wonderfull pu... allso one of my favs

I'm still trying to find a 1400. I have a 1300 and just put it in a heavy ash strat. Very very nice PU but is very sensitive to the distance from the strings. Can't be too close, IMO. 8)

First of all, the playing and tone is stellar -- as usual man!

Blown away that that's a 500T -- or really any ceramic pickup. Because to me it doesn't sound flat like ceramics often can, which is I think why so many people don't like them. I guess a lot of it is the amp, some of it is your fingers, I'm thinking some of it is volume? How far roughly is the pickup from the strings? 009s?
