Ralle and the powerbrake help
I remember reading a message thread about a mod that ralle did to the power brake that gave it true transparency. Does anyone know what the mod was and how to perform it on the Marshall power brake?

jump the two connections using a wire (blue) as indicated in this pic...

I found it took away some of the flubbyness of the powerbrake, not so much of the transparent, but it's worth a try to see what you think.

Re: Ralle and the powerbrake help
It's been about a decade since I did mine up, but the gist is you bypass the inductor and also replace the stock 100w resistor and fan with at least 200w worth of resistors. I've done hundreds of hours on mine and it gets a bit warm, but compared to the stock one I have its about as transparent as an attenuator gets
So you think your Mesa-Boogie is cool? You won't even be able to hear it over my Marshall Superlead
