Home Recording Software Plug-Ins

Post by T.J.Fuller » Mon Dec 15, 2008 11:19 pm

I knew it was going to cost some coin-age to get my little Home Studio going and

I was amazed ( please remember I just started this home recording stuff) at all the FREE software plug-ins that are available in VST format.

So whose got a favorite plug in and why ??

What are some cool links you guys use for FREE plug-ins ??

I just started grabbing up stuff lately - SIR reverb and Omni Verb

A cool ducking delay for vocal use - GDuck Delay

Yamaha Vocal Rack .....the list is growing

What are you guys using and why????

Delay Lama is a fun one...not applicable everywhere but I've seen some fun challenges where people are put to the test of writing a song, genre doesn't matter, using this plugin. It simulates phonetics and loosely emulates a gyoto monk. Good if you're feeling a little steve vai mystic coming on. :D
