I bought one of these and I love it. What I love is the fact that if I go guitar-amp-cabclone-attenuator-cabinet I can record direct without headphones late at night. Still listening to what is coming from the speaker cabinet at a low volume. I hate recording guitar via headphones. There is a headphone jack on it as well if you like that sort of thing.
I have always struggled to get a recorded electric guitar sound with microphones so to me it is a relief not to have to struggle with that. This is just plug and play. I know there is a missing critical element in the recorded sound, but it allows me to get those ideas down. It sounds pretty good to me.
