paypal, payed with echeck?

How did I end up paying with an echeck? This has happenned to me a few times before, but I forget which site, maybe it's always been here? It's a bummer cause it takes an extra 6 days to clear. I must have missed the page that has the option to just pay with ordinary paypal?

I think PayPal has recently changed the default funding source.

maybe given paypal skinning me on the exchange I didn't quite have it covered.

Again! I don't get it. I go through all the steps because I don't see shipping added unless I do then choose paypal at the end. Am I the only person this is happenning to?

Last time you guys sent me an email to pay to and when I payed it it still reverted to echeck. If paypal tries to draw on my bank account this time it may bounce, I have no idea how paypal processes echecks.
