Marshall set screw knobs
I'm not sure if they are unavailable temporarily or gone for good. I can't get Marshall set-screw knobs right now. Not surprised since Marshall changed North American distributor a few months ago. Unfortunately, I don't know if my suppliers will get OEM Marshal parts again.
I have pulled our PPI-MV kits from the store for now, since they require a Marshall knob. If I find out that we can get those again, or if we choose a different knob, I will restore the product listings.

Re: Marshall set screw knobs
CE Distribution still has both the OE Marshall and generic set screw knobs.

Re: Marshall set screw knobs
I was surprised when I ordered them that they are the taller type with the dark gold cap. That's what alerted me.

Re: Marshall set screw knobs
I stand corrected. Just checked with CE this morning, and all they have is the generic. I guess I should have picked up a few bags of the OEM's when I ordered my set a few months ago.
Then again, I'm not uber concerned with cosmetic accuracy, so the generic will work fine for me.
I work in a repair shop, so yes when Korg and Marshall split, the spare parts end of things went down the toilet.

The P-K339s from CE are the closest I have found... all of the other ones are taller and/or have darker caps; included the ones from TubeDepot that look good in the pictures, but are essentially the P-K339s with dark caps.

Re: Marshall set screw knobs
Which of the two styles the CE sells are the closest to the original? The P-K340, or the P-K349? I was surprised when they stopped selling the 8 pack. So you are saying that the CE knobs are not made by the original Marshall supplier. I don't want to tell my customers that they are getting genuine Marshall knobs if they are not. People tend to get upset about stuff like that.
I just had another thought. If you really wanted the Marshall knobs, couldn't you buy the P-KM200 push-on style and drill a hole for the set screw. Of course you would have to tap the hole. Does anyone know if the inside diameter of the push on style if different from the set screw knob?
UUUhhhh....he said "knob"

Re: Marshall set screw knobs
Left: Marshall (these were not that great, typically needed reaming with a 1/4" drill bit before they would go on)
Middle:P-K339 (Not exactly the same, but nicer with their metal shaft inserts)
Right: P-K340
