HEY!!!! I resemble that remark.

For you guys with all the experience in the world I'm sure it seems easy to go right to the info needed. I'm sure that having thousands of posts involved in these topics and knowing all the terminology has nothing to do with that ability either.

I certainly don't want to turn this into a pissing match and because I have a huge amount of respect for George I'll simply say that most of the veterans here are where they are because they read and researched.

Sorry about that Mike. All the other boards in the bin have this so your's was either a mistake or it fell out during shipment.
I can send turrets out today.

Hey man, I don't either. That's not why I'm here and I apologize for being harsh. I just don't think that the comment you made was cool. Me speaking my mind was in no way disrespectful to George. I don't know the man but I have nothing but respect for what he has done here. He does run a business though. A business that caters to newbies and vet's alike and for "George's Right Hand Man" to make that comment is wrong IMO especially when newbies are invited. If the questions bother you maybe you should make a $5 "Amp Building Basics" DVD a requirement to sign up to the forum.

As far as the Veterans go, I never said they got there any other way. I bet most if not all of them can say that somewhere along the line someone gave them guidance that's all. That in no way takes away from the dues they paid or what they have accomplished whether it be amps or anything else. I have much respect for those people. My comments were not aimed at any of them and I think they know that.

I never meant to bring any bad vibes. I like this place and most of the people. I am just someone who speaks his mind whether in person or on here. I apologize if I offended anyone.

Like F. Gump said..."That's all I have to say about that!"

My original comment wasn't directed to you or anyone else in particular. Over the years we've had the occasional knucklehead who think we're all here to do their reserach for them. It just gets frustrating at times.

Everyone here wants the same thing and you won't find a cooler, more helpful board anywhere. I hope the build journal works out... so far it looks to be headed in the right direction.

The last thing I want is to be on a soap box, so I'll step off mine and offer the same apology.
