Look out for one called "Who Dares Burns", that one's awesome. And despite the name tastes quite good. 'Tis the hottest I've managed to find in the U.K. though. I've actually started growing my own Naga chillies in order to begin making my own ferocious sauces.

so many hot sauces, one would require many cool beverages. flames you are right, the insanity sauce is more in the weapons category than
condiments & should take care of any vermin. one of my favs is:

My daughter bought me a gift pack of hot sauces from that company for my birthday once..I like to let wings sit in that for a day then I bread 'em and fry them up.mmmmmm

I'm all for hot sauce therapy! Great for hangovers too.


Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement.


I got a lot of rest over the weekend. And started taking several supplements. Including some serious antioxidants (thanks 5150).

I also bought a glucose meter and started testing levels at different times of day. Seems that my blood sugar is definitely dropping low. Most notably around lunch time.
Yesterday before lunch it was down to 79.

I also expect to hear from the doc today with results of my insulin test on Friday.

I'm working today and feel a out 70% normal. If I have to go take a nap or a break I will.

Take care of yourself and don't work too hard. Even the healthy will eventually end up with health problems (its simple nature) so there is no need to rush into them by overstressing and overworking. Regardless, good to hear you are ok.

Today was a rough one. I crashed hard this morning with glucose levels in the low 70's. I got it up a bit, but now I'm down in the low 60's.
That's scary low.

I'm going to chill for a while.

George, that is really scary.

If you don't listen to your body when it talks nicely, eventually it will make you listen, and it can get really fuckin' mean.

I'm sure everybody is sympathetic to the situation -- so just do it! Do whatever it takes, don't put any of this off.

Thanks guys, I got a lot of rest last night. Then had a big breakfast, big lunch and snacks in between. I still tested in the 80's. But I haven't crashed today.

I think my body will need time to adjust. I've been through a lot the last few weeks.

Pygnogenol is a super strong antioxydant VG, comes from maritime pin trees, inside the balk stuff, great for sugar related malfunctions, it will help regulize your pancreatic fonctions.

Sounds like hypogleacemia.....sorry french name

Things with a smooth GI (Glycaemic index) give a slower rise to the blood glucose and are less likely to prompt an overshoot response from the controlling mechanism and the rebound hypoglycaemia you are experiencing.
It sounds like your doc is onto it (GTT and hormone assays?) to find out why this is happening.
As 5150lovededdie says pulses, bran, soluble sugars are good (so is normal ice-cream funnily enough).
Eat small meals - graze through the day - no blow outs!
Sometimes see it in people who have had old-fashioned gastric surgery for ulcers, but you should have a thorough workout to see what is going on with your Insulin/Glucagon control mechanism.

(p.s. you measure glucose in a strange unit (grammes/liter), either that or we do (mmol/litre) in Europe. A glucose of 70 in your units is not that low (=3.8mmol/l) to be pathological (ie not thinking wierd pancreatic tumours) - might make you a bit grumpy tho' :roll: )
