HOLY SHIT, George!!! You're gonna be loaded for bear!!!
What's this Bluesbreaker combo there, Bud? When did that slip in? Are you going to kit it?
I thought you said you were going to take it a little easier for your health's sake?
Looks to me like you have been just as busy as always!!
BTW, if you need to store any of that gear at "Metro West"....let me know!

Re: LA Amp Show Oct 4,5 2008
I had built a JTM 45 chassis that was supposed to be a head, but I got the combo cab.....and thought some Golds would sound nice (yes, they definitely do!) and voila!
FWIW anyone can build a JTM 45 or 50W combo from our kits. Just omit the head case and order the BB cab from Mojo. Our chassis fit perfectly.
Eventually, I'll stock the BB cabs myself. But I can't afford a bunch of these yet.
I may need to dump a couple cabs at your place, if you have room. He he. I had cabs delivered to LA and I'll be loading and wiring them there. I have NO intention of shipping these back to Michigan.
Which is worth mentioning:
FOR SALE and available for pick p at the end of the show on Sunday
(1) pinstripe 4-12 straight cab loaded with Heritage G12M's
(1) pinstripe 4-12 slant cab loaded with Heritage G12M's
(1) basketweave 4-12 straight cab loaded with Heritage G12M's
(1) basketweave 4-12 slant cab loaded with Heritage G12M's
I prefer to sell these loaded, but can remove speakers if necessary.

Well, I do have a straight basket weave that may "need" a slant mate....

Re: LA Amp Show Oct 4,5 2008
Great ideas George, from a marketing standpoint this makes available a whole palette of tone colors to truly present the incredible tonal diversity of Metroamps!
From the last LA Amp show I attended, it was incredible the classic rock tones available from say the JTM 45/100. This being my favorite Metro head, it is Hendrix's tone without question. The re-amping setup sounds interesting as well.
Happy to see the recent Vintage Guitar writeup and wish only good things for the coming New Year for Metro
Sadly I will be inable to attend this year, but will be there in spirit.
Again great idea to offer up different signal chains as the diversity of Metro's will be showcased in a proper fashion.

Bad news on the Echoplex. The record head is shot. Nice surprise, and what I get for buying it as-is on Egay. I'm looking for a head but haven't heard about any available for years.
I do have the Space Echo tuned up, so we'll have tape echo one way or another.

Re: LA Amp Show Oct 4,5 2008
It's just after 8AM here. I had breakfast and I'm getting ready for the show. I snapped a few crappy snaps with my phone. I'll post those.
Gutpile is still sleeping......too many Heiny's last night.
GA, the Fulltone isn't for sale. And come to think of it. I didn't see it in the crates. I must have forgot it. D'oh!
The Beano Boost and Sunface are killing though.
Also want to mention, Don Butler dropped by the room last night and we heard his LP with throwbak PU's. Holy shit! They beat Gutpile's Skatterbrains pretty handily.
