Bought a used 2210 and the DI Output shaft on the rear was sheared off. The pot reads Taiwan Alpha B4.7k and it's a flying mount.
Looking through the Store, I see two possible options.......
Alpha 5K vs. Marshall 4.7k
The Marshall is the right value but it appears to be designed to mount to the PCB.
Should I go with one of these or look for an exact match?
Also, just to make sure.....the two-button foot switch you list will work with a 2210 won't it? I keep seeing the P802 listed as the right one but it's always described as being for the 900's.
One other thing. I need an input jack for an old Marshall cab ('67/'68). Do you have those for sale?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Parts for a 2210....
5K is a more than adequate substitution for a 4.7K pot. What with tolerances and drift it's easy to find a 5K pot reading lower than some 4.7K pots anyway.
Chances are, the original designer had 5K in mind when doing his sums at the early stages anyhow.

So I like purple, okay!!!!!!
