Forum and website status

Welcome back everyone. This last 8 days has been beyond stressful, I apologize for the downtime. Our server was pulled down by the host company due to malware last Thursday.
At the beginning of this crisis I was informed that malicious software had infected the server and was so deeply embedded that they didn't know if any data could be saved. Heartbreaking. 10+ years of online presence, webstore database, forum archive act all seemingly lost. I've learned a lot over the past week, suffice to say. There was no offsite back up, very few layers of security and infrequent security updates. All my own fault 100%.
These issues will all be addressed in the coming weeks, as we rebuild the site and likely bring in some changes.
For now, the forum, metroamp and plexi replicas are online, running on the cleansed server. Over the next several days we will migrate to a new, dedicated server with up to date tech specs, automated backup, extra security and more. Welcome to Metroamp 3.0.
As such, the site may be slow or intermittent. If you can not access, please be patient and know that it should be online gain shortly. When I know the exact day and time of our final migration I will post an announcement with that info and an ETA to be back online for good.
Thanks for all the support during this past week and lets all please appreciate what a wealth of knowledge this community has to offer. It would have been a terrible shame to have lost it. Especially if our forensic evaluation determines that a malicious individual targeted the server with intent to take it down.
Thanks,
george
