Just giving colours without their gauge and grouping off the trannny might not help, post a pic.
Stock wiring is here (scroll down):
I suggest:
- two green wires are fat = 6.3vac heaters to V7 socket
-green/yellow fat = heater centre tap = ground
orange is typically common primary
purple is 240v primary
blue is 220v primary
red si 120v primary
there will be bias feed and bias ground paired (put a meter on them)
I think yours has dual secondaries so this means 6 wires of which two will be the outer pair (hi volts 190v) two will be middle pair (170v ??) and the inner pair have to be tied together as a centre tap.
Did you buy this from a dealer or direct or second hand?

Re: Heyboer Metroamp spec Dagnall T2562 wiring Schematic
Neil,
I purchased it from Heyboer and they didn't send a wiring schematic.
I tested for continuity and separated the wires in picture:
Orange - Violet - Dark Blue - Red
Light Blue - Light Blue
Green - Green/Yellow - Green
Red - Red - Red/Blue - Red/Blue - Red/Yellow

Then tested the Ohms from Common (Orange) to the Primary wires.
Orange to Violet = 2.3 Ohms
Orange to Dark Blue = 2.0 Ohms
Orange to Red = .80 Ohms
Definitely agree with the heater wires that you posted:
"- two green wires are fat = 6.3vac heaters to V7 socket

Excellent, thanks George, we were nearly there, it was the HT and 80% taps that were going to be hard!VelvetGeorge wrote:Primary:

Thank you Neil and George!
I got her put in today and she has a 498 B+ and all biased up, way better than the old PT where I was running at 515 to 528 B+.
