Metro Transformers

I put a Metro Dagnall Clone in my 100 watt 2203 and it is awesome. I want to put A dagnall OT and PT like Georges in my 50 watt 1976 4-Holer. Where can I get these now? I am not sure George sells them anymore.

Yeah, that was one of the things I wish would have come back when they redid the Metro store. Only way to get George's iron now is in a kit or in one of his amps. Sometimes you can get lucky and someone will sell one off in the classifieds section.

I've used Marstran iron. Brian Wallace has done just as much, or more, tone testing with old Marshall's as George has, to get a very nice recipe for his transformers.

doesn't the 1202-132 have a 1.7k primary (rather than the 2k stated in the specs sheet)? also, chokes would be great. I'm particularly found of the 5h 352-114

So I've ordered the 1203-80-ML and the C1998V from Heyboer and the C1998V came without any endbells. Were the endbells that came on the C1998 OTs in the kits from Heyboer or specifically sourced by George? Heyboer keeps giving me chincy black bells that are significantly thinner that the bells that came with the kits. I'm just hoping to find endbells that match the one that came on the 1203-80-ML without having to source another OT from somewhere. Any ideas?
