Current Marshall OT,PT & Choke Replacements

Post by maltone » Tue Oct 11, 2011 10:34 am

Hey guys. I'm looking to replace the OT, PT and choke in my 2008 JCM 2000 - DSL 100. I know there are several vendors I can use: MM, Heyboer, Classictone.

But Hammond http://www.hammondmfg.com/guitarLinePWR.htm has a line of Marshall replacement OT's, PT's and chokes as well. But, I don't see anything in their Marshall line for the JCM 2000 DSL-100 series.

Question: Would either of these 2 sets of PT's, OT's and choke work for the DSL 100 series amps?
— I don't know what the stock OT and PT's are rated for?

Hammond Power Transformers—they carry 2 - 100 watt versions:

194C Choke Marshall JCM 800

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Maltone,

We offer a drop-in replacement for the OT in our 40-18055 at ClassicTone.

We also offer the 3 Hy choke that Roe mentions here. :wink:

Please see following:

http://www.classictone.net/40-18058.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also, we have a PT in development now for the 100W JCM2000 DSL amps and should be available in a few weeks. :clap:

Thanks,
