Checking bias as we speak. Using webber bias rite.

V7 12ma 450V at idle
V6 12ma 450v
V5 10ma 450v
V4 13ma 450v

Could bias be so low that it doesnt sag the PT enough? I swapped the two outer tubes and put them in the two inner positions. Yes the glowing follows the tubes. So is not a oscillation resolved with the stoppers.

I have no idea guys. I turned up bias thinking it would lower the voltage to the screens causing the glowing to subside. The glowing did subside slightly. I was up close looking at the tubes to check the screens. I seen the tubes flicker white for a second. Scared the crap out of me. I never seen that before.

36ma at 430v its set to

15w at 430 is 34ma
17w at 430 is 39ma

I am feeding through a webber browner. My wall voltage is a tad high. Remove that out of the loop and I am gonna have to start back at the beginning. Check all voltages again. I am just really frustrated on this amp. Metroamps kits were so easy compared to this. I am gonna go get some shielding tape and shield the headbox. Maybe its causing some problems.
