Don't know about Skot, but if you want a transformer go with Classic Tone, very good quality for the money. I've build a JCM800 50W with them and two days ago A/B-ed it with a JCM800 100w re... Mine was better:) Headroom of the 100 watt was bigger, but if the amp is not running on full volume, than 50 watt at the rehearsal room can sound just as big without killing anyone:) Not trying to say that I'm some kind of smart guy, just if you'll buy the right parts then your amp is going to sound better than the stock one! I've used Sozos for the caps (ONLY those that in the signal path), metal films for the resistor, 3 watts Metal Oxide for the B+ resistors, ClassicTone OT and MOJOtone PT with Choke.
