Wiring Diagram for a 100 watt PT
I want to double check my thoughts before the point of no return.
A laydown Heyboer 100 watt 1203-80-1 (putting together a superbass with '67 era specs).
Left side: (top to bottom)
COM
120
220
240
16AWG solid green
16AWG green with yellow stripe
16AWG solid green
22AWG solid blue
22AWG solid blue
Right side: (top to bottom)
178
152
COM
152
178
Could somebody review the connection points for each of these wires?
I would really appreciate it!

Uh oh!
I found a few answers, still a few questions though. How's this look?
(Heyboer laydown for 10,000 series superbass circuit. Serial number 1203-80-1 HTS 8205-1 9960646)
Left side:
COM run an orange wire from tab to the mains 4 amp fuse holder
120 run a red wire from tab to the lower two terminals of the power
switch
220 leave tab on tranny alone
240 leave tab on tranny alone
16AWG green- twist with other green 16 AWG wire then to pin 2 or 7 of V7
16AWG green/yellow stripe- to ground lug of nearby filter cap.
16AWG green- twist with other green 16 guage wire then to pin 7 or 2 of V7
22AWG blue- to bias supply on main board
22AWG blue- bias winding common tap, to chassis lug
Right side:
178 ?
152 leave tab on tranny alone?
COM ground to a lug on the chassis?
152 leave tab on tranny alone?
178 ?
The right side is not so clear to me right now. Thanks in advance for any help!

You've got the left side fine. The right side will run either the two 178 taps or the two 152 taps -- the 178's giving you a higher final B+ voltage than the 152's -- a blue wire from each to the AC sides of your bridge rectifier. I think for the '67 you'll want to take the center tap to the junction of your two mains filter caps (the "+" of the first joining the "-" of the second) but you might check Dan's '67 layout to be sure, but I'm pretty sure it should be a voltage doubler arrangement and hook between those caps.

Yes, and it makes no difference which goes where.Metal Handles wrote:OK, after reviewing Dan's layout, do I run the two B+ (178 taps) to the top two tabs on the standby switch? (which then runs to the power board)
If so, I assume there is no difference which of the two B+ (aka HV Secondaries?) wires go to either of the top two standby switch tabs.

Doesn't matter!Herec wrote:Does it matter which bias wire goes where, like which one goes to the board and which one to ground with this tranny.
Larry
The fault almost always is sitting in front of the amp
